Abstract (EN)

In this scope of research, it is aimed to reveal whether the training students, who are at the age of 9-13, take through playing darts sport has an impact on students' development of attention skills or not. For this purpose two groups both of which consist of 30 students are identified. At the first phase Bourdon Attention Test is conducted on both control and experimental groups. After pre-practice, 2 hours darts sport exercise has been conducted on experimental group two days a week for 8 weeks and students who are in the control group continue their education normally. At the end of the 8 weeks last practice has been performed by conducting Bourdon Attention Test which evaluates attention skill on students who are involved in both groups repeatedly. Experimental design method with pre-test post-test control group is used as the method of research. In consequence of research it is ascertained that there is an increase in the attention level of experimental group on which darts sport exercise is conducted. Given these results, proposals are made about intensification of sportive practices like darts sport for these age groups and positive improvement of individual sports on attention levels.
