Verification and evaluation of Dâvûd-i Kârsî work called Şerhu'd-Dürri'l-Yetîm

In this study, ed-Dürrü'l-yetîm, which includes brief but concise information written by Dāwud Qārṣy (d. 1169/1756), one of the famous scholars of the Ottoman Empire, Imām al-Birkiwy (d. 981/1573) about the science of tajwîd. The analysis and analysis of the commentary he made on his work named Based on the opinion that Dāwud Qārṣy, who has an important place in the writing of the commentary method, the purpose of writing this commentary is because the treatise is too short, this work has been examined and verified. During this investigation and examination, using the preferred method, three existing manuscript copies were reached as a result of the research, and one of them was compared with the other two copies. Missing or excess words in each other were examined by specifying in the footnote.. The study consists of an introduction, three chapters and a conclusion. In the introduction, the subject, purpose, importance, methods and sources of the study are mentioned. In the first main part, the life and works of Dāwud Qārṣy are discussed. In the second main part, the subjects of the work are studied by researching from classical basic sources, and then the views of the author are mentioned. In the third main section, the manuscript copies of the commentary were introduced and the verified text was included. In the conclusion part, the study was concluded by evaluating the general subjects of the work.
