Abstract (EN)

The accurate and sensitive examination of the physical and chemical properties of semiconductors has an important place in science. Many theoretical and experimental methods have been proposed so far. One of these theoretical methods is the Debye approach, which is used to calculate the thermodynamic and transport properties of semiconductors. In this thesis, the specific heat capacities of some semiconductors in wide temperature ranges were investigated using the Debye approach. The heat capacity depends on the analytical formula proposed for the Debye approach and with this formula; the desired accurate and sensitive results are obtained. In this study, the specific heat capacities of , ve and semiconductors were calculated according to the Debye approach. The variation of these semiconductors with respect to temperature was investigated. The calculation results obtained were compared with the literature and were found to be compatible. Calculation results obtained in wide temperature ranges show that semiconductors will be useful in scientific and technological fields Keywords: Semiconductor; Heat capacity; Debye Approach
