Abstract (EN)

The most important source of Turkish music, Mevlevi music, has been the subject of many studies, has received wide recognition in international arena. All in all, we could say that it is the most important cultural heritage our ancestors left us.In this study, with in the Mevlevi rituals Hammamizade Ismail Dede Efendi "Ferahfeza Mevlevi Ceremony" has been investigated through the tune, style, and melodic harmony. In this investigation, the ceremony of ferahfeza, how Dede Efendi used this style in his works, how it has been used in relation with modal passings and authority of this passings of ferahfeza, procedures used in rituals associated with these procedures meter. On the other hand, "ritual" in order to express the form first, "Mevlana" , "Mevlevi" and the "Whirling Dervishes" in detail has been explained. Information is also given about the Ritual? s composer, Dede Efendi, one of the greatest artists of the period.Key Words: Ferahfeza, Mevlevi Ceremony, Mevlana Jalal-ud-din Rumi, Sema, Dede Efendi.
