Özet (EN)

Present study was conducted to determine the effect of two types of fungal species, Pleurotus eryngii (PE) and Phanerochaete chrysosporium (PC) with or without urea on in-situ degradibility and energy content of wheat straw (S). Wheat straw was inoculated with these fungal species and furhter subjected to incubation for 30 days with or without the addition of UREA 1%. On the basis of different feed regimes six groups were made such as Phanerochaete chrysosporium+ wheat straw (PCS), Phanerochaete chrysosporium+ wheat straw+UREA 1% (PCSU), Pleurotus eryngii + wheat straw (PES), Pleurotus eryngii + wheat straw +UREA%1 (PESU), wheat straw +UREA%1 (SU) and wheat straw (S). Treated and untreated wheat straw samples were subjected to in-situ degradability in rumen 0, 4, 8, 16, 24, 48, 72 and 96 hours of incubation by using nylon bag technique. In this experiment, an average of 400 kg weight, 4 cannulated Holstein male animals were used as animal material. After the incubation, the samples remaing in the nylon bags were subjected to their dry matter and protein degradabilities were determined. Differences in terms of the drymatter and protein degradabilities among the mix combinations were found to be significant (P<0.01. The energy values of the wheat straw treated with different feedsincreased the energy values significantly (P˂0.01). Consequently considering the in-situ degradability parameters of straw and its effect on energy content, the urea treated mixture of Phanerochaetechrysosporium fungi was the most suitable feed combination.
