Abstract (EN)
In recent years, foreign trade has reached quite high amounts. Especially, at the point reached in production with the development move of People's Republic of China foreign trade deficits have begun to emerge in trade with China in most parts of the world. With the increase in foreign trade, countries try to steer trade with non-tariff methods in order to protect their interests. China has announced the Belt and Road Initiative to the world in order to make this trade sustainable and to provide uninterrupted access to trade routes, ports and raw materials. With this proposal of China, all eyes are on Central Asian countries. Central Asian Republics, which have not access to the open seas, find this idea quite favourable. For Central Asian countries, this project is seen as an important opportunity both to complete infrastructure investments and to reduce costs in foreign trade. By this way, they will gain a significant achievement in terms of competitiveness in international markets. They will also have the opportunity to open up to new markets for their products. A faster and uninterrupted supply system is foreseen for consumers. In this study, it was tried to examine what Iron Silk Road will bring us and what kind of dangers it will present. In addition, efforts were made to find out the economic potential of Eurasian countries. The effects of foreign trade and customs policies in the countries along the route of the Modern Iron Silk Road were examined comparatively.
