Abstract (EN)
In this study, we investigated and observed the applicability of the everpresent superconducting junction with iron-sheathed in-situ MgB2 wires by induction annealing. Within the scope of the study, we fabricated in-situ MgB2/Fe wires with a diameter of 1.8 mm using the PIT method, sealed both ends of the pieces we cut from these wires with a mechanical press, and annealed them at 900 degrees in the induction facility to form a superconducting phase. We interpreted the results obtained by performing the R-T and I-V characteristics as well as SEM and EDS analyzes of the samples obtained. As a result of this study, we found that superconducting joints in MgB2/Fe can be formed by induction annealing in a very short time (about 1 minute) and with very low energy consumption. The results we obtained shed light on the applicability of this method to different metal structures with different induction frequencies.
