In this research, robot design was made for the control of catenary systems. In the current situation, the maintenance of catenary systems is done mostly in the form of night maintenance by cutting off the train traffic. This is a disadvantage in terms of both working in short time intervals and instant intervention. Thanks to the designed robot, continuous control operations will be possible. The robot has been designed in a way that is easy to use, low cost and can be developed by adapting it to the characteristics of the line with small changes for the area to be used. Since it will work outdoors, attention should be paid to its wind and temperature resistance. If it is developed, it can be used for line cleaning and even for removing foreign objects stuck on the line, well as taking images.
