As well, after thefoundation of Turkish Republic , the importance of religion continued to influence thesociety . Although the public reactions against the new revolutins had been taken undercontrol by the new regime, the process in which these revolutions became firmlyestablihed was painful.In the period of multiple parties life, the political atmosphere in the countryas well as the conditions all over the world led the obligation to examine therevolutions again and in a different way. Although this comment met some of the publicexpectations , it was not sufficient. That situation ended when the Democrat Party cameto power. This new party in power brought the arguments without hesitation which wereregarded as revolutions while being abolihed to diminish the negative effects of the paston the society. In a such kind of process, a new opposing block existed as well as therewere people who were glad.In this study, beside mentioning the efforts of becoming reformist andmodern with adopting Republic , the adventure of republic soon after the multilpleparties life has been told. Because, Democrat Party being the sole power in the countryduring ten-year period called the attention through its policies about the scope ofreligion and secularism. In this period, the method used was making every sacrificiesneeded to meet the expectations of the society . In the study , sampling the opposingsymbols that came across the negative reactions during that period is cited whilementioning Democrat Party?s polices based on religion. Furthermore, the process of thesteps in the first phase is consulted. Because to understand the first phase , we comparethe findings with various documents . Thus , the future will be understood better withthis detailed method.
