Electronic monitoring in contex of probation

The topic of the thesis is the surveillance via the electronic device, which was regulated in the article of the 15/A of the law no. 5402 of the probation law. To do this, the thesis has been tried to be grounded upon a philosophical background by examining the relationship between aim and the sanction and then as a general framework, the probation and probation measure that will contribute to the penal system as a system, have been touched upon, and lastly the execution mechanism of the electronic tagging has been mentioned. While the topics of the probation and electronic tagging have been examining, the historical processess that pave way to the aforementioned institutions have been started to be explained, its position in the comparative law and the Turkish law has been tried to be mentioned. It has been strived for touching upon some theoretical and practical issues, in this sense, different penal, penal procedure and criminal execution institutions have been touched upon.
