Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study was to identify the potential hazards and risks that may arise in terms of occupational health and safety and to determine the measures to be taken in order to keep within acceptable levels by analysing these hazards and risks in a commercial marine cage aquaculture system for European sea bass (Dicentrarchus labrax). A commercial marine cage aquaculture system for European sea bass was chosen as the application area. L-Matrix Method was used in risk analysis study. At the end of the study, hazards and risks were identified individually for terrestrial, marine and transport units and necessary measures were set to come to an acceptable level of risk levels. A total of 33 hazards were identified at the scope of the study. Non allowable and tolerable risk level of danger were not identified, 16 dangers were in significant risk level, and 17 dangers were in remarkable level of risk. Various suggestions about the precautions to be taken advised for reducing these risk levels to pointless and allowable risk levels.
