Abstract (EN)

In this study, remote sensing techniques using between April-October of 2009 and March and October of 2016, the salinity of the sea water in the freshwater discharge area in Turkey's Mediterranean coast, is intended to analyze the temperature and chlorophyll change. The Medaterranean coastlaine is 1,577 km long and is situated South of Turkey. The western border starts from Köyceğiz and continues to the Basit Cape in the east. Satellite images os Landsat-5 TM and Landsat-8 OLI covering the working limies and the necessary image enhancement operations were done by fixing the problems. After pretreament, salinity, temperature and chlorophyll changes were determined. As a result of the study, it was observed that the salinity rate was high in summer and low in spring and autumn. İt was observed that the chlorophyll rate was high in spring and summer, and it decreased in autmn.
