Poetry criticism in Dergâh magazine (Issues 1-100.)

Magazines are one of the most important indicators of the vitality and development of literature. Dergâh magazine also draws attention as one of the well-established magazines of Turkish literature, which was published as 384 issues between March 1990 and February 2022. The texts published in the magazine since its first issue and the artists around the magazine presented examples of the afore-mentioned vitality and development. Although it was published as a literature, art and culture magazine, Dergâh always took literature at its center. This study covers particularly poetry criticism articles published in 1-100 issues and prose works related to poetry and the poet in general. In the Introduction part of the study, the establishment and features of the magazine are discussed, and in the First Part, the articles about poetry and poet are examined under five headings. In the Second Part, the articles about the poems and poets in the issues of the magazine are given under three separate headings. Many articles were written on literature and different subjects in Dergâh magazine. New poems were published in the magazine, and there were articles about poetry and poets. These articles are valuable articles about Turkish poetry in the period when the magazine was published, as well as about Turkish poetry in general. The study will be a preliminary resource for researchers to see the articles about poetry in Dergâh collectively.
