Design and application of deep soil mixing

Aim of this study; to provide an overview of deep soil mixing, has an important role in soil improvement methods for many years in the world but recently in our country, and to design an equipment system that can have ability to make applications. Especially explain in detail the design of the deep mixing equipment system and to present application results of the case studies to the literature.İn order to study literature research was done firstly, purpose of soil improvement was mentioned, soil improvement methods were given and deep soil mixing method was explained in detail. As a result of this thesis a deep mixing system was designed and the operation of the system was evaluated with case applications.Key Words: Deep Soil Mixing, Ground Improvement, System Design
