Abstract (EN)
In this study, Dexpanthenol drug substance was loaded into polymer solutions using and made into nanofibers. The Electrospinning device was used to make the nanofiber. The nanofibers are cross-linked to prevent the release of polymer substances in the drug release and to make the release more controllable. Different crosslinking methods have been developed for each polymer. High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) was used to measure the release of the drug substance in the nanofiber. Morphologies of the fibers were observed with a Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) device and the fibers were observed to be in nanometer size. The Attenuated Total Reflection-Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrometer (ATR-FTIR) and X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) devices were used to determine the structures of the nanofibers. Contact Angle measurement and Swelling test were performed to determine the hydrophilicity. As a result, Dexpanthenol, the drug substance, was loaded into three different polymer solutions and nano-sized fibers were obtained. Dexpanthenol was observed as the result of analyzes that showed controlled drug release.
