Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study was to determine the support and motivation of sports participation in junior high school students participating in training courses and these variables as age, gender, type of sport and to examine in terms of product categories. The study sample in the 2016-2017 academic year studying in Tatvan town of Bitlis, randomly selected 257 men, 113 girls are a total of 370 secondary school students. As a data collection tool in the research; The sex of the student, age, like sport in which class and participated studying where the questions aimed at obtaining demographic information "Personal Information Form" to determine their sport participation motivation, Gill, Gross and Huddleston (1983) developed by Çelebi translated into Turkish by and Oyar and al (2001) reliability and validity studies conducted by the "Sport Participation Motivation Questionnaire (PMQ Participation Motivation Questionnaire)" is used. Statistical analysis of the data was performed using SPSS software. According to the results of the research; It was found that there were significant differences in the sub-dimensions of "competition" and "activity / activity" in terms of gender change in sports participation, significant differences in sub-dimensions of "entertainment" and "competition" in terms of age change, "success / status" Sub-dimensions, and there are significant differences in the sub-dimensions of "success / status", "entertainment" and "friend" in terms of branch change. The students involved in support and training courses will contribute significantly to motivate the attitudes, motivations and attitudes of the students to the behavior of the sport participation motives, feelings and thoughts, sports behavior and sports awareness by the coaches or physical education teachers. Determining why students participate in the spore to ensure continuity in the spade and regulating them in a way that affects the performance of the students positively will contribute positively to the continuity of the sport.
