Abstract (EN)
Since the education of 4-6 age group was added to the service areas of the Presidency of Religious Affairs, the activities in this field have increased rapidly over the years.DIB (Presidency of Religious Affairs) 4-6 age education program, which started to be implemented in the 2013-2014 academic year, has been put into service to provide religious education activities for the preschool period, which is considered one of the most critical stages of development, taking into account the needs and expectations of the society. This study aims to evaluate the DIB 4-6 age curriculum with the developed scale in line with the opinions of the instructors, to make a content analysis of the materials used in the program and to make an in-depth evaluation by associating the findings with each other. In this study, a scale was developed and this scale was applied to 480 instructors working in the Istanbul Muftiate. The data obtained from the participants were evaluated according to the variables in the scale. In the qualitative part of the study, the content analysis of the materials used in the program, especially the Quran courses tutorial book, was made, and the situation of the materials was determined by comparing them with the data obtained from the quantitative part.As a result of the research, it has been concluded that the DIB 4-6 age curriculum meets the pre-school religious education needs of the society to a large extent, but there are some deficiencies and disruptions in the content of the program and in the implementation process.
