Abstract (EN)

After 1980s; obtaining the capital groups in the whole world by media; the commercialism and orientation to sensational news that appears, have taken a role for determination of the content of the fame culture. Accordingly, mass communication means become part of entertainment and show culture; therefore, actors ?famous people? gained much more importance. In this direction, mass communication means presented celebrity as an intended and desired feature to the community and gave a way to become popular by changing their program formats. As a result, figure of ?temporary celebrities-celetoids? have increased. However, ?normal? ways of gaining popularity have been exhausted as a result of wide range dissemination of ?desire to become popular? due to economical, social and psychological reasons and ?overall ways for popularity? become to be adequate. Accordingly, world of celebrities become to be highlighted with crime and violation behaviors, as well as sensational events. This study aims to review above stated change within celebrity culture and relation between crime/violation and celebrity culture, as well as analyze today?s celebrity culture on the basis of a point of view not considered until today.
