Digitalization impact on project management in Türkiye context

This study examines the effects of digitalization on project management practices in Türkiye. The research aims to evaluate the level of digitalization and the advantages and challenges faced by practitioners. In this context, a relevant literature review is conducted, and a survey is conducted for 50 project management professionals from various sectors in Türkiye. The data collection process aims to understand the participants' level of use of digital tools and their experiences with these tools. Data are analyzed using qualitative and quantitative methods, and by this mix-method analysis, the study give in-depth results regarding the subject. Findings show that the effective use of digital tools in project management increases project efficiency, but also brings with it some difficulties. In addition, the study includes the purposes of use of digital tools such as artificial intelligence, software, cloud computing and data analytics used in project management. The study draws attention to the issues of education, awareness, domestic solutions and collaborations to maximize the potential of digitalization in project management and sheds light on future research in this field.
