Abstract (EN)
The aim of the study is to analyzing whether digital transformation differs according to the demographic data of employees' in the hotel businesses. Moreover, it is to examine whether the employees' in the hotel businesses experience unemployment anxiety with digital transformation in the tourism industry. Quantitative research method was preferred for the study, since the aim of the research is to observe and measure the degree of relationship between variables objectively, and because of the data in the study can be observed and expressed in numeric form. Survey technique was used as a data gathering tool which methods are currently the most frequently used in scientific research. The population of the study consists of employees in all departments of 4 and 5 star hotels in Alanya district of Antalya province. Collected data obtained were analyzed using descriptive and exploratory statistical techniques. It is understood that the employees will support new job models that will contribute to the employees in tourism management in the light of digital transformation according to the results of the study findings. Also, it is concluded that they think according to the descriptive analysis result, employees are worried that digital transformation will increase unemployment, don't have enough education to keep up with digital transformation, and professions in the tourism sector will disappear in the future with digitalization. It could be said about the results obtained are compatible with the general literature, and some of the results will provided new contributions to the literature.
