Abstract (EN)
Digital games are not only tools for entertainment, but also a powerful tool for reshaping social norms, identities and cultural representations. The literature review found that when digital games are designed to be inclusive, they encourage empathy among players, strengthen social interactions and appeal to a wider audience. However, it also highlighted the prevalence of stereotypical gender and racial representations and shortcomings in terms of accessibility. The study used qualitative content analysis methods to evaluate the representational elements (audiovisual style, narrative) and simulation mechanics (controls, objectives, spatial features) in the context of inclusivity. The results of the analyses show that the game has some strengths in terms of inclusivity, but has shortcomings, especially in terms of gender and cultural diversity. This study contributes to scholarship by providing a theoretical framework for the principle of inclusivity in digital game design. It argues that games should be seen not only as entertainment, but also as a tool for social change, and demonstrates that inclusive design plays a critical role in developing innovative and sustainable approaches in the games industry.
