Abstract (EN)

Developments in the field of technology cause many services performed by traditional methods to shift to the digital environment. These services, which extend to the digital environment, provide time, space and cost savings to individuals and businesses. This advantage experienced in the digital field also shows itself in the field of literacy. The changes in the financial sector along with digitalization reveal the necessity of literacy in the field in question with knowledge, skills and practice. With the widespread use of computers, mobile devices and internet access, financial literacy has also progressed significantly. With the innovations in the digital field, diversity in financial services has accelerated and practical applications that people can understand have been created. Thanks to internet and mobile banking support, financial needs can be met regardless of time and place without going to a branch. With the development of digitalization, innovations in the financial sector and the features of accessing and using this information have been revealed. In today's century, where the importance of digital financial literacy increases day by day, its advantages and disadvantages on individuals were tested with the prepared survey form. It was concluded that there is a significant relationship between the individuals' demographic characteristics and their digital financial literacy, as well as the ability to understand and interpret the risks and problems of the digital financial literacy information of the individuals participating in the study.
