Evaluation of Dilmac Journal in terms of folklore

Journals are one of the most important tools for the exchange of political, social and cultural information, but also serve as a school that informs their readers about specific issues and enlightens them. Dilmac journal is a periodical published in South Azerbaijan. In this study, articles about folklore in Dilmac journal were dwell on and evaluated. This study is composed of entrance, two main sections, results, bibliyography and annexes. After giving information about the thesis in the entrance, the history of İranian Turks, Turkish communities living in Iran, journals in Iran and folklore studies on South Azerbaijan were dwell on. İn the first part of the study, general information about Dilmac journal is given. In the second part, folklore writings in Dilmac journal were evaluated. In the third part, a statistical study was conducted on the articles published in the journal and then a bibliography of the articles in the journal was given. In the conclusion of the study, the data obtained were evaluated. Key Words: Iranian, South Azerbaijan, Dilmac, Journal, Folklore.
