Abstract (EN)

Man has been adorned by God in many different ways as creation, and he has been charged with free movement and responsibility, along with reason and weak will. In this study, the freedom of religion and conscience, which has not lost its value as a current subject, has been evaluated with a different perspective than the relationship between individual and state, and the freedom of religion and conscience in religious education has been addressed in terms of individual-individual and individual-society. In religious education, the freedom of religion and conscience can contribute to the solution of problems such as terrorism, people's intolerance towards each other, violence, marginalization and lack of communication and making the world a more livable place. The research consists of 4 parts: In the first part, the problem, purpose, method and limitations of the research are included. Basic concepts of freedom of religion and conscience are also mentioned in the first chapter. In the second part, basic rights and the limits of this freedom are given as the background of freedom of religion and conscience in religious education. In the third chapter, religious and conscience freedom education, the necessity, scope and obstacles of this education are discussed. In the fourth part, as the current situation in freedom of religion and conscience education; The programs of the DKAB education programs, elective religion courses and other disciplines related to the subject were examined, and the evaluation of the issue of freedom of religion and conscience by religious teachers in religious education was included.
