Professional satisfaction in religious officers: The case of Izmit

In our country, the Religious Affairs Directorate carries out religious services in the public framework. This institution is trying to meet the needs and needs of our society through its central organization, provincial organization, foreign organization and media channels. In general terms, the Presidency of Religious Affairs has two main tasks. One is to enlighten society on issues such as faith, worship and morality, and the second is to manage places of worship through the performance of religious services. The scope of activity of the Presidency and its range of activities are quite wide and are expanding day by day. On the one hand, the Koran courses primarily through religious education activities when trying to execute, on the other hand, a mosque inside and outside of religious services is being pursued. This, as well as to support religious education activities in the family, adult ladies for the in resumed Quran courses with provincial and district mufti of the bodies of the family to meet the needs of religious matters Family and Religious Guidance Bureau has been operating. This research; To determine the factors that prevent or support the professional satisfaction of religious officials, to measure the professional satisfaction of religious officials with the information and findings to be established and to contribute to the more efficient becoming the society. The questionnaire and Professional Satisfaction Scale prepared in line with the aim were applied to 124 imam-hatip, 23 muezzin-kayyim and 123 Kurat çeği an course instructors from the religious officials working in Kocaeli province of İzmit in 2018. The results of the survey were analyzed in SPSS 18.0 statistical program and various statistical techniques were used in the evaluation of the data. These are Frequency Analysis, Analysis of Variance, ONE-WAY-ANOVA, t-test, Post-Hoc Multiple Comparisons (Tukey HSD). In the study, the findings of the factors affecting the professional satisfaction of religious officials were presented with tables and graphs in the application section of the study, a general evaluation was made in the conclusion section and various suggestions were introduced.
