The effect of religious culture moral education course on the formation of moral culture

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of the courses of Religion Culture and Moral Education on the formation of Moral Cultures. For this reason, the effect of the lessons of Religion Culture and Moral Information on the formation of Moral Cultures in children between the ages of 11 and 12 were investigated. In accordance with the aim of this research, ethical issues from the teaching steps of religious culture and moral information courses were examined. Being knowledgeable about the characteristics of the group in which you work is at the root of a productive work. Therefore; moral development characteristics of 11-12 age group were examined. This study was carried out in Çorum province in the spring term of 2012-2013 academic year, Mimar Sinan Middle School, 23 April Middle School and Yavuz Sultan Selim Middle School in the 6th and 7th grade. During the spring semester of 2012-2013 academic year, a questionnaire was applied to 409 students in 6th and 7th grade. The total data obtained from the questionnaire was evaluated by using the SPSS 18.00 Computer Operating Program, Correlation of Data and Cross Tabulation. There is a positive correlation of positive interest 0.267 in the relationship between interest and love for DKAB courses and moral behavior development. According to 01 alpha value, the result of 0,267 value is meaningful. We see that there is a direct correlation between the love of DKAB classes and the development of ethical behavior. n other words, the more the interest of the student in the lesson, the more the Moral Culture will change. This finding seems to be influential on the formation of Moral Cultures by increasing the level of love for the DKAB courses. Keywords: Morality, Moral Education, Moral Culture, Moral Development
