Evaluation of dentists' i̇ntereference strategies to occlusal and aproximal caries with questionaires method

Recent studies have brought a different perspective to the treatment approaches in the mouth and dental care. Current researches on dental carries put conservative and preventive treatment understanding forward. Not only does this treatment type not require invasive appliances, but also provides an economical contribution to the patient. The absence of invasive appliances, both during the treatment and post-treatment, secures the patient against any kind of complications. When it is evaluated from this aspect, to familiarize the dentists with that philosophy of current treatment brings many advantages in terms of both the country and citizens. Many studies related to this subject have been done in several countries, from the 1980s onwards, and found wide range of results, which show differences within the treatment options. However, in Turkey, There is no research about how much of these treatments followed by the dentists in the caries cure implementations. Within this study , it is aimed to evaluate whether the tendency of early restorative intervention; conservative and preventive treatment; and the caries strategies as well as modern treatment philosophy are being regarded or not by those dentists, who are in different positions in the department of scientific branch for restorative dental treatment in Turkey's dental faculties (like student-dentist, senior dentist, research fellow), dental clinics (like general practitioner, expert, or freelance dentist)
