Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, in order to determine the accuracy of the measurements made with the ultrasound device, which is an important diagnostic imaging tool in the field of veterinary medicine, the largest follicle on the ovary was measured with the ultrasound device before slaughter of 23 cultured female cattle in Akşehir region and brought to the slaughterhouse for slaughter, and the same structure was measured in the ovary obtained after slaughter and the two measurements were compared. In addition, the weight, width, length, and volume measurements of the obtained ovaries were carried out in Afyon Kocatepe University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Anatomy Laboratory. These measurements made on the ovaries before and after slaughter are also presented in a table in the text of the thesis. It was determined that there was no visible difference between ultrasound and caliper measurements in follicle measurements and the reliability of ultrasound device measurements was determined.
