Abstract (EN)

In the developing and changing world, there is a rapid change in working life too. Different working conditions in each sector creates varied threats and risks. Depend on the existing dangers and risks, there can be seen work accidents and occupational diseases. With the measures taken, occupational diseases can be prevented completely and work accidents can be prevented at a high rate. However, without developing necessary awareness between workers, impact of measures would be low. The most important factor in raising awareness is education. The period of education, the frequency of repetition, the duration of education and relevance of content can be ignored. Not giving enough importance to the occupational health and safety training also prevents the development of occupational health and safety culture and awareness in employees and students who are preparing for work life. Because of these reasons, educational institutions should reconsider some issues related to occupational health and safety such as duration, content, and reintroduction. In this research, measuring occupational health and safety culture and awareness among interdisciplinary graduate students and determining the factors affected culture and awareness are intended. In the study, a survey was applied to 180 students who are studying at interdisciplinary graduate programs of Hitit University. The data obtained from the research were analyzed in ''IBM SPSS Statistics 25.0''. 8 hypotheses have been proposed in the study. Parametric and non-parametric analyzes were performed to test the hypotheses. In the results obtained in the study, there were no statistically significant relationships between the gender, taking OHS course in undergraduate education, working status and the education period during which OHS education was considered. However, statistically significant relationships were found between age, marital status, the faculty from which graduated and the graduate departments from which they were educated.
