Abstract (EN)
With the advancement of today's technology, the innovations in the field of architecture have increased significantly and continue to increase with each new development. With the innovations created by technology, designs have found the opportunity to become reality instead of being a dream. Designs based on utopian and dystopian ideas and the possibility of realizing these designs in real life cause people to dream more; dreams come true and the increase in requests paved the way for the desire to explore new places. With the development of technology, production methods and cinematographic tools used, innovations have been experienced in many sectors. Designs that respond to user requests and needs have been tried to be applied in all areas. Dystopic spaces; takes place in many fields such as boks, movies, music videos, games. In the light of this information, semantic and formal-aesthetic analysis of music videos of Janet Jackson's "Rhythm Nation", Jamie xx's "Gosh" and The Carters' "Apes**t" were made. Phenomenology research method was used in the analysis of the dystopic meanings carried by the videos and conveyed through spaces. The formal-aesthetic analysis of the locations of "Bradbury Building", "Tiandu Park" and "Louvre Museum", where the videos were shot, were carried out with Beaux-Arts design principles.
