Abstract (EN)

According to recent research, Hodja Ahmed Yesevî has four works that have survived up to now. Divân-ı Hikmet is one of these works that teach the convenance and rules of Turkish Sufism and that is the most famous in the Turkic world. However, a study examining the language properties of this work, which has a great contribution to the development of Turkish culture, literature and language, has not been written. In the current study, a manuscript of Divân-ı Hikmet, which we call Kokshetaw copy due to its location, was examined in terms of language features. Our study consists of Introduction, Analysis, Text and Index sections. In the introduction, there are various topics related to Ahmed Yesevi, Divan-ı Hikmet and Divan-ı Hikmet's Kokshetaw copy. In the analysis section, spelling, phonemic and morphological properties of the work are discussed. In the text section, the transcription of the manuscript, which has the characteristics of Chagatai Turkish, is given. In the index section, the usages and meanings of the words in the work are given. In the conclusion section, a brief summary of the information at all stages of our study is made, specific language properties of the work are presented and numerical data about the vocabulary of the work are included.
