Turkish schooling elements for foreigners in Dîvânu Lugâti̇'t-Türk

The main goal of this research is to examine the foreign language learning elements in Dîvânu Lugâti't-Türk and to evaluate these elements towards using them in current education system. Qualitative research technique has been used in this study. Document browsing, as a research method and content analysis as a data analysis technique has been applied. Secondary data resources have also been consulted in the research. The findings point out that the language learning elements in Dîvânu Lugâti't- Türk are not known enough nowadays, and that the errors in current language learning techniques have to be immediately eliminated.
