Divanu Lugati't Turk of studies carried in Turkey and out on foreign countries

The first Turkish dictionary had written by Kaşgarlı Mahmud, the great grammar of the XI century, Divanu Lugati't-Türk could be found in the Sahaflar market of Istanbul by Ali Emir in 1912.The publication of the dictionary made by Rıfat of Kilis between the years 1915-1917 attracted the attention by of all linguists and historians. In our study, we tried to limit the studies on the faces that were made on various subjects during the Soviet period within the scope of certain criteria. In this research, which covers three chapters, the researches related to the first biography of Kaşgarlı Mahmud were examined. Information was given about the sources they used and based. In the second part, the translations of Divanu Lugati't-Türk have been introduced. In the third part, some collective and singular works about Kaşgarlı Mahmud have been introduced. In the third section, except single studies, in Azerbaijan and in Turkey were published two studies, on the subject have taken Mahmud of Kashgar were examined by Russian scientists with the magazine.
