Abstract (EN)

Values education has a critical importance in the preschool period as it is the period when the individual begins to form the foundations of personality and learning takes place rapidly. Educators emphasize that preschool children learn through play. Therefore, values education should also be taught through games in this period. Qur'an schools for 4-6 year olds have recently been introduced by the Presidency of Religious Affairs. It is very important to develop educational materials for these schools. This study focuses on teaching values to preschool children through games. For this purpose, games were designed for each unit in the curriculum developed for 4-6 year old Qur'an schools affiliated to the Presidency of Religious Affairs. In the research, in which qualitative research methodology was used, there are original game examples prepared by utilizing the literature and developed by the researcher. In order to be applied in values education in 4-6 years old Qur'an schools s affiliated to the Presidency of Religious Affairs, 2 games were designed specifically for each unit in accordance with the 4-6 years old Qur'an school curriculum, and a total of 38 educational games were included in the study. These games aim to provide a fun learning experience while supporting children's understanding of religious values.
