Investigation of Root Values ​​in the Publications of the Presidency of Religious Affairs on Mevlidi Nebi

In this study, the "Hz. The Prophet and the Society of Trust, Our Prophet and Youth, Our Prophet and the Family, Our Prophet and the Child, Our Prophet and the Society of Loyalty" were examined through the ten root values that came to the fore in the Religious Culture and Moral Knowledge course curriculum. In the study, it is aimed to determine which root values are included in the works examined, how intensely and on which concepts. As a result of the examination made for this purpose, the value most frequently mentioned in the books was the value of "love" with 17%. The least included value was self-control with 3% and patriotism with 2%. It has been seen that the root values in the works are handled by associating them with the determined themes. The study is an independent study that examines the books published by the Presidency of Religious Affairs for the Mevlidi Nebi Weeks, which are celebrated every year, in the context of the root values in the curriculum of the Ministry of National Education. In the study, document review and descriptive analysis techniques from qualitative research techniques were used.
