Diyarbakır center and its surroundings (ditricts) public medicine

This is study includes folk medicine methods and practices in Diyarbakır and province. The content of the study consists 3 of parts. The first part is introductory part. The subject of the research, the purpose of the boundary method, the physical features, the historical social cultural and economic structure are discussed . In the second part of research, the definition of folk medicine, modern medicine, traditional medicine and folk medicine in Anatolia are explored. In the continuation of the second part, the effect of internet-television on folk medicine, shaman, baksi, cam, herbalist, exhalation-murmur, hearth-hearth, lay-shrines are explained. Terms and treatment methods used in folk medicine are given under separate headings. Theses and books written within the framework of folk medicine are included. Within the boundaries of the research, information was given about the content of the previous folk medicine studies. In the third part diseases treatment methods in Diyarbakir folk medicine and in the frame work of work medicine in Diyarbakir tombs, mausoleums and healing waters are discussed. In this section diseases are classified and explained in accordance with today's medicine. It is observed that the tombs and mausoleums have preserved their function as treatment centres until today. In formation about the healing waters in the research area and their benefits to diseases is given . In our research, the plants used for treatment and their local names are started. In the continuation of the third chapter, the research was concluded by giving place to the conclusion bibliography and opendices.
