The simplification and examination of the Tabsiratü'l-Human work of Diyarbakırlı Mehmet Said Pasha and moral view

Mehmet Said Pasha of Diyarbakır is an important statesman and scientist who lived during the Ottoman Disintegration Period in the 19th century. Thanks to his versatility in his civil service life, he has written works in different fields. Our thesis includes the life of Mehmet Said Pasha of Diyarbakır, the translation of the work Tabsıratü'l-İnsan, which he wrote in the field of Ethics, and the examination and evaluation of the work. In this context, our thesis consists of three main parts. In the first part, information about moral studies in the Ottoman period and there is information about the life and works of Mehmet Said Pasha of Diyarbakır. In the second part, the simplification of the work Tabsıratü'l- İnsan and the third part, the evaluation of the work were made. In this thesis, it is aimed to make a contribution to Moral Philosophy by trying to explain how Mehmet Said Pasha of Diyarbakır evaluated the concept of morality and what he thought about morality.
