Abstract (EN)
Additive Manufacturing technology produces parts by processing them in layers and offers many alternatives such as design originality (3D design), zero waste, less material requirement and improvement of mechanical properties. Titanium is hard, non-magnetic, low density, a poor conductor and resistant to corrosion. The conditions of the coating to be applied after additive manufacturing is another important issue that should be taken into consideration. Coating time and parameters have a great impact on the microstructure of materials and therefore on product performance. In this research, the mechanical and corrosion properties of titanium material produced by Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS), one of the additive manufacturing technology methods, were examined at different coating times (10 minutes and 30 minutes) and approximately 1000 hours of aging.
