Synthesis and characterization of DNA selective microspheres

Abstract (EN)

Molecular imprinting has been widely used by scientists in recent years to synthesize target-memory polymers and thus produce selective materials against target molecules. The aim of this study is to imprint DNA molecules obtained from 6 different species into Poly(Glycidyl methacrylate), Poly(GMA) microspheres and to give these polymers selectivity for each living DNA separately. For the characterization of polymers, Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Frouer Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-IR), Thermal Analysis and Laser Scanning Confocal Microscope Analysis were performed. To compare the selectivity of DNA-imprinted polymers, confocal microscopy images and GC-MS mass analyzes were performed.
