Dobrudja issue (1878-1913)

Dobruja was divided between Romania and Bulgaria as a result of the Berlin Treaty signed after the 1877-1878 Ottoman-Russian War. In order to examine the condition screated by this sharing in theregion, first of all, the strategic location and ethnic structure of the Dobruja region, the civilizations that existed in the region and the activities carried out in the region during the period under theauspices of the Ottoman State were mentioned. In addition, the attitudes of Romania and Bulgaria towards the people in the region during the break from the Ottoman protectorate with the Berlin Treaty were also examined. In this line, when discussing the Dobruja issue, it is necessaryto first mention its geography and the advantages and disadvantages of its geography to the region. These condissue we will look at will be the civilizations existing in the region and the developments that took place during and after the Ottoman Empire's domination. Another issue we will mention is the factors that were effective in the process of leaving the Ottoman lands and the attitude of Romania and Bulgaria towards the people living in this region as a result of the sharing of the Dobruca region, real estate issues and immigration to the Ottoman lands.
