Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of the acquisition of the value of love of nature with folklore products on the students' environmental attitudes and their views on the process. Embedded design, one of the mixed research methods, where quantitative and qualitative research methods were used together, was used in the study. The study group of the study consists of 20 (EG = 10, CG = 10) fourth grade students studying in two primary schools connected to the Ministry of National Education in Fındıklı District of Rize Province. "Environmental Attitude Scale" was used as the data collection tool and "semi-structured interview form" was used to determine the students opinions about the practices. In the analysis of the data obtained from the scale, Shapiro-Wilk Test, t-test, Mann Whitney U test and in the analysis of the data obtained from the semi-structured interview form, descriptive analysis was used. According to the findings of the research, it was found that there was no significant difference in the pre-test scores between the experimental and control group. However there was a significant difference in the post-test scores between the groups and the students found it more beneficial to learn with folklore products. As a result of the study, it was found that the acquisition of the value of love of nature with folklore products had a positive effect on the students behaviors, emotions and thoughts, but it did not create a significant change in the willingness to act. Also the students' views on the teaching process with folklore products were positive.
