Abstract (EN)

Ceramics was first discovered to meet people's daily needs and was later used as a means of expression in art. From past to present, various textures have been used in ceramic vessels that reflect the social lives, religious beliefs and cultural sensitivity of societies, as well as their aesthetic and economic concerns. Today, ceramics continues to be produced with different shaping and decoration techniques along with developing technology, industry and various artistic approaches. In this research, various mushrooms with unique textures in natural life were examined and their textures were interpreted on ceramic surfaces. In this context, national and international ceramic artists working with cork textures on ceramic surfaces were also examined. The ceramic works produced within the scope of the thesis were designed digitally and then the models were produced using various shaping techniques. A common plastic expression language was created in the studies. The studies were carried out in electric chamber type kilns with the first firing at 980 0C and the glazed firing at 1050 0C.
