Abstract (EN)
In this study, a clinoptilolite sample belonging to the Manisa Gördes region was examined. The chemical formula of Gördes clinoptilolite is [(Na0,5K2,5)(Ca1,0Mg0,5)(Al6,Si30)O72. 24H2O]. It is a natural potassium, calcium, magnesium, sodium hydrated alumino-silicate mineral. Characterization processes of 0,25M; 0,50M; 1,00M; 1,50M; 2,00M; 2,50M and 5,00M modified forms prepared with natural and H2SO4 acid solution X-ray diffraction (XRD) and X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy analyzed by the method. When clinoptilolite was modified with acid solution, changes occurred in the chemistry of the zeolite due to the displaced cations and aluminum removal of the zeolite. With the increase in Si/Al ratio, H2SO4 acid became effective. It is aimed to examine the chemical compositions and properties of Gördes clinoptilolite after acid modification.
