Abstract (EN)
Parallel to the global population, humanity's increasing demand for a better quality of life has led to an increase in the production of raw materials and manufactured goods. As is well known, many raw materials are obtained through mining activities, both underground and aboveground. A significant portion of production is carried out through open-pit mining. Due to the significant risks and hazards faced by occupational health and safety during production, it is necessary to develop approaches for taking preventative measures to minimize the risk of accidents for workers. In this study, mining activities in the sample open-pit mine were analyzed using the Checklist Method and the L-Type Risk Assessment Decision Matrix Method, and measures were identified to reduce risky situations to acceptable levels.
