Since this increased the interest in the region, which is rich in energy resources, at the regional and global level, it started the maritime jurisdiction problem of the riparian countries. The study is important in that it deals with the problem of sharing Maritime Jurisdiction, which emerged after the discovery of hydrocarbon energy resources in the Eastern Mediterranean, the attitudes and practices of the riparian countries in the context of international law, and the relationship with the energy policies of Turkey and Israel, which are two important actors in the region. offers.
