Abstract (EN)
With its richness in terms of energy resources, the Eastern Mediterranean is a region that has the potential to create conflict between the countries in the region regarding the sharing of exclusive economic regions. Global powers that want to control energy resources also take part in the region in terms of sharing. Turkey wants to benefit from the energy resources in the exclusive economic zone which is a legitimate right under international law in this competition. This thesis conflicts in the region and Turkey's Blue Homeland doctrine will be examined in the framework of international law and bilateral agreements.
