Postpartum fatigue of the mother's relationship with self-care agency

Abstract (EN)

Objective: The aim of the study of women with postpartum fatigue level seen in the second month to determine the relationship between self -care agency. Methods: This study was conducted with 313 postpartum women as determined by analytical -sectional random sampling method. Research data identifier women, obstetrics, childbirth and the postpartum period personal information form to report the characteristics, Visual Analog Scale for Fatigue, Self- Care Agency Scale, Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale, were collected by the Multidimensional Perceived Social Support Scale. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, ANOVA, t-test, Mann Whitney U, Kruskal-Wallis was used for correlation and multiple regression analysis. Results: The mean age of the women surveyed 25.36 ± 3.67 (range: 18-35 ). 52,1 % of women reported that they perceived as low income levels. Women were found to be 14,1% of primary school graduates. 87,5% of women lived in nuclear families, to study the part 77,3% and 31% was observed in the absence of health insurance. Women 's YİGBS score with a positive correlation between low income EDPS score, a negative relationship between ÖBGÖ points with housework and baby care which support the absence of one was found. Conclusion: This is the mother's postpartum fatigue experienced research it was determined that negatively affect self-care. These results are assessed by the relationship between self -care agency, to deal with the woman's fatigue methods may assist the development, planning of pre-natal and post-natal care and mother and be used in the presentation/the development of the baby's health, protecting, may contribute to the promotion.
