Abstract (EN)

In this study, a composite disc having a centered circular hole was modeled. The composite material had aluminum metal matrix and it was reinforced with steel fibers. The finite element method (FEM) was used for solution. For this purpose, the ANSYS software was used for both modeling and analysis processes. Composite disc was created as three dimensional as a difference according to previous studies. The stresses and elastic strains which are the various boundary conditions, uniform temperatures and angular velocities were performed on three dimensional composite disc. The magnitudes of thermal stresses and elastic strains were calculated and their distributions on disc were obtained. The obtained results which are derived from various loading conditions were compared with together. According to results of study, it is understand that both magnitudes and distributions of stresses and strains were changed by changing applied uniform temperature and angular velocity.
