Abstract (EN)

The aim of this research is to reveal the relationships between transformational leadership, role conflict and employee performance in the context of direct, indirect and total effects. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, which has had an impact all over the world, data was collected by online survey method. Data were collected from 265 public and private sector employees in Adana by convenience and snowball sampling methods. Exploratory factor analysis (EFA), Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), Pearson correlation analysis, Cronbach Alpha reliability test, structural equation model (SEM) path analysis and SOBEL test were used in data analysis. As a result of the analysis, it has been determined that transformational leadership affects role conflict and employee performance. It has been found that role conflict also affects employee performance. In addition, it has been revealed that role conflict has a mediating role in the effect of transformational leadership on employee performance.
