Abstract (EN)
The impact of leadership styles on the creativity levels of employees and the innovation skills of organizations is a subject that has been studied in the literature for many years. As an effective leadership style, transformational leadership is thought to have positive effects on employee creativity at the individual level and innovation skills at the organizational level. In this study, the effect of employees' perceptions of transformational leadership on employees' creativity levels is examined. In this direction, this study was designed as a quantitative research in which the data were obtained by questionnaire technique. The participants of the study consisted of 302 people between the ages of 18-65 working in the private or public sector in Sakarya province. The data obtained were analyzed with IBM SPSS Statistics 27. In this process, normality tests, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis of the scales, Pearson correlation analysis to reveal the relationships between variables, and simple linear regression analysis were used to determine how the variables affect each other. As a result of the data analysis, a positive and significant relationship was found between the participants' perceptions of transformational leadership and creativity levels. It was also determined that the effect of the participants' transformational leadership perceptions on their creativity was statistically significant. As a result, the findings of the study show that transformational leadership is a significant predictor of employee creativity. Suggestions were made to both practitioners and researchers in the light of the findings of the study. Keywords: Leadership, Transformational Leadership, Employee Creativity, Innovation
